Venues

There are three venues for the festival. Campus Martius in Downtown Detroit, America’s "Top Public Square,” is the venue for the festival’s opening night.

The other two venues are on the campus of Wayne State University (WSU). With undergraduate and graduate programs in urban studies and planning, film, and other related fields to the film festival’s mission, WSU is a perfect venue for Better Cities Film Festival.

With its large theatre the Community Arts Auditorium is the venue for all evening programming. The beautiful 1958 Minoru Yamasaki designed McGregor Memorial Conference Center (room FGH) is the venue for most of the festival’s daytime programming.
